BackTow™ Technology: A Game-Changer in Safety
TeamO's PFDs are the only inflatable harnesses featuring the innovative BackTow™ Technology. This patented design is engineered to protect the wearer during a man-overboard (MOB) situation while they remain tethered to the vessel.
After inflation, the wearer can manually activate the BackTow™ handle, located on the top of the right-hand lung. This action turns the wearer into a face-up seated position in the water, allowing for safe towing alongside the vessel.
The BackTow™ strap serves as a strong attachment point, significantly reducing the risk of injury during recovery. Even a smaller person can successfully recover a MOB wearing a TeamO PFD with the assistance of a winch, thanks to this secure feature.

Please note: TeamO Inflatable PFDs are a UK-designed, world-class product that has the highly regarded world standard of ISO12402-3. TeamO Inflatable PFDs do not have Transport Canada or US Coast Guard approval.
Many countries coast guards state, "You are required by law to have a lifejacket or PFD (Personal Flotation Device) onboard for each person on a watercraft."
